Hello ROBALO OWNERS

Just want to say HI .

If any ROBALO owners have any questions I can help. I have one of the original 1969 R190 and it has been fished all over Florida and the Bahamas for 43 years. I am currently doing a makeover on her . Painting the hull and having to put new non skid on as we have wore down the original , Also will be putting the 7 th power (s) on her . I worked for ROBALO also for many years and left when they moved north as I wasn't giving up Fl.. PoPs has lived on Grant Farm Island nearly 35 years and I wanted my boys to learn fishing ,boating , and repairing the boats. Now I get to teach my grandson . We have had years of fun in Brevard waters and is very laid back compared to further south. So hopefully the forum will help others to enjoy the waters as I have and if anyone has boat questions even if it's not a ROBALO please just let me know . If I don't get on here that much but I am always on my website .

Sammy, John Duncan here. Been quite awhile.Happen to be on site and saw an article about old robalos.Wanted to see if they really knew about them.After Mr.Larson died heard they sold boat to one of daughters ex.Not many of the old ones left.Do you know what happened to Judd Garvins boat or Henry Whites? Hope all is well. Drop me a line if you get a chance.

Hello Johnny been a while . Yea Tim Wile has the old Mrs Freddie but haven't talked to him in a year or so
And he hasn't done anything to it. Judd Jr. Has the Cuddacatcher and his brother he's the White lightning and there in Hommassa . Henry Whites boat I helped his wife sell to a guy named Robertson in Orlando. Put him in touch with a guy from ROBALO to do some glass work and rigging. He put on a new 200hp and about a month after they were using it someone stole it. It was found 4 years latter in some woods completely stripped and he called me wanting to know where to get a console, T-Top, bowrail, teak and seats LoL told him there is no parts avaiable and he would need to go to Marine Conn Liquidaters to find them from other boats.
My boat I'm doing her first makeover but been working on it for a few years as had medical problems and just had a complete hip replacement so I'll start back on her in March if I can get the Doctors off of me .loL
