thanks once more to willy and lillie at aps marine for fixing the 15hp johnson on red white and blue.  i thought i could change the impeller.  i put the connector for the gear rod upside down and could not shift it.  thanks guys.  rob blackledge contact willy at aps marine for your boat repairs.
