 Please let me know if we can add your organization's name to our list of opposition to these bad Bills. Out of State Companies want to Forbid Local Regulation of Fertilizer Pollution The Florida Legislature is considering taking away local governments ability to regulate sales and use of fertilizer in Senate bill 606 and House bill 457.  They claim they want to make regulations uniform statewide but actually out of state fertilizer companies are lobbying for dismantling all local regulations. …See More

Lobster diving, long time boater/fisherman, native Floridian from Bradenton, in this area since '68 and remember when Indian River Lagoon was clear water, lots of sea grass and teeming with fish, shrimp, clams, oysters, crabs, etc.. I'm retired USAF vet,, corp. exec engineer. I do vilunteer work as director on the board of the Marine Resources Council of East Florida and chair the Fisheries Campaign with the objective of bringing back that clear water, sea grass and fin/shell fish.
