It should be a great weekend to head offshore. Seas are expected to be less than two feet with light south winds. Dolphin catches are best around 160-220 feet, with fish concentrating around surface rips. Look for kingfish on any 60- to 80-foot reef off Canaveral or Sebastian. Rig a live, 6- to 10-inch silver mullet or pogy on a wire stinger rig and slow troll these areas. Cobia are hanging around the same reefs as the kings, so keep a rod ready with a jig or live bait hook. (from…

Thanks for everyone’s participation, encouragement, and support. BoatBrevard.com continues to grow into something much larger than I originally planned and expected. Since its launch at the beginning of December of 2009, it has had over 40,000 unique users, consistently gets over 5,000 page views, and gets many new members each day. Please continue to invite your friends and family to join us at Central Florida’s Interactive Waterway... We need your help to share the site with all boaters in…

Thanks Rusty, I have fond memories of those days during Sail week on the Carribean. Lot's of good friends and plenty of good times.
Hey Rusty every things going good. Thanks, Randy
I hope everything is going well with you lot. I'm off to Costa Rica this morning, but I'll try to catch up on my return in early September. Do you know how it all went in Florida recently?
Hi there Rusty,
" Broke Back Beach is on the south end of the island just south of Grant Island. 2 good ol boys landed there about 8 months ago in a little square house boat and proceeded to live there. Now the boat is unuseable (does'nt float) and is aneye soar. (Right in front of my home.) So I gave it a special name. Thanks for asking.
I will thank you
Hopefully, we can meet sometime on the water. I can then tell more quite a bit about it as I even made a Great Loop presentation to two of the 3 Brevard county US Power squadrons.
FYI, I tried to get on the ski-island.com website but could not. My Cocoa Beach Sail & Power Squadron is giving a Boating course on July 21 and 28 at Cape Canaveral Hospital and I wanted to advertise it to the 129 members of that group. Do you know how to go about it?
All the Best, Gerard.
Thanks! Looking forward to getting out and meeting you guys soon!
Thanks Rusty
Thanks Rusty. Good to be back.
i will check it out, thanks for the welcome. see you at the boatshow!!
Thanks Rusty, Gonna be down there may 12 through the 27. I have family down there and will surely be hanging out on the Sebastian sand bars at least a few of those day. Thanks again for the welcome!
I feel more Boaters living in Volusia County would join the Boat Space Coast portion if "Volusia" was added to "Brevard and more". Just a suggestion, for at first it appeared to be for mostly Melbourne area.
Walter
